Come on a journey to shine your light. For this retreat we are meeting in northern Italy in no other place than Valenza - the so-called “City of Gold”
We will be residing at the captivating grounds of Villa Pravernara, a dreamy Italian villa from the 16th-century, nestled in the Piemontese countryside.
This retreat with Juliette van der Weijde is an invitation to deepen your Yoga practice, to explore authentic self-expression and to embrace your golden light within.
We start the mornings with a mindful and energizing practice. Juliette’s classes focus on creating stability in the body & mind and will challenge participants of all levels, while maintaining a keen eye for technique and correct alignment. Yogic practices such as meditation, pranayama, and Yoga asana are great tools to reveal our True Self so we can shine our light, to be bold, and express our unique spirit.
Take a break from daily life. During the retreat there will be plenty of opportunity to take time for yourself, to bask in the Italian late-summer sun and to rest surrounded by the magnificent nature of the Italian countryside.
In the late afternoons, Juliette offers her signature workshops focused on backbending and inversions. These sessions encourage you to confront your fears and unlock your full potential.
Another integral part of this experience is joyful self-development, which will be supported by guided journaling practices and opportunities to share with others. We will express using our voice during a kirtan session with Sheila, foster playfulness in a creative workshop and find freedom through dancing during a special dj-set.
And, of course, we set aside an afternoon for a trip to the beach

The area of Piemont is known for its abundantly giving environment with fragrant hazelnut groves, picturesque vineyards and renowned truffle territories. Valenza is an hour away from the Italian main cities Milan, Genoa and Turin and well accessible by train, car or airplane.
